Installing an Oil Cooler (4WD Model) [Toyota Carina T190]

1. Install the bypass valve.
  • Tightening torque - 165 Nm

2. Install the oil cooler.

a) Clean the contact surfaces of the oil cooler and the mating part.

b) Install a new O-ring and gasket onto the oil cooler.

c) Install the oil cooler on the oil filter bracket and tighten the mounting nut.
  • Tightening torque - 60 Nm



3. Connect the hoses to the oil cooler.

4. Install the oil filter.

5. Install the air filter cover with air duct.

6. Fill with coolant.

7. Check for oil and coolant leaks.
