To turn on the high beam, push the lever forward. To turn on the low beam, pull it back. To flash the headlights, pull the lever further.
When the high beam is on, a blue indicator light on the instrument panel lights up.
The light signal can be given even if the light switch is not turned on.
To signal a turn, move the switch lever up or down in the usual manner (fig. 10220-03).
After turning, the indicator lever returns to the neutral position automatically, but after changing lanes, you must manually move the lever back to its previous position. To signal a lane change, you can also move the lever slightly to the desired side and hold it there with your hand. If the green indicator light on the instrument panel flashes faster than usual, this indicates that the front or rear turn signal bulb has burned out. If the indicator light does not light at all, either the fuse or the indicator light has burned out.
The headlights can also be turned on and off while the direction indicators are on.
