To fasten, pull the belt out of the retractor and insert the tongue into the buckle.
When the tongue is locked in the lock, a click will be heard. Make sure that the latch is securely fastened and the belt is not twisted.
The belt length is automatically adjusted to your body size and seating position.
The retractor locks the belt during emergency braking or a collision. With slow and gentle movements, the belt moves and you can move freely.
Correct fit of the waist and shoulder straps.
To reduce the possibility that you could slip under the lap belt in a collision, it is important that it fits as closely as possible to your belt - not to your stomach.
For your safety, keep the shoulder strap under your arm.
To release the seat belt, press the release button and let the belt return to the retractor.
If the belt does not fully retract, it must be pulled out and checked for kinks or twists. Be careful not to twist the belt when retracting.
