Insert the tongue into the buckle to fasten the belt (pic. 10170-09).
When the tongue is locked in the lock, a click will be heard. Make sure that the latch is securely fastened and that the belt is not twisted.
If the strap is not long enough, hold the tongue at the correct angle to the strap and pull (see picture).
Trim excess belt length and place belt over waistband.
To shorten the strap, pull on the free end of the strap.
To reduce the possibility that you could slip under the lap belt in a collision, it is important that it fits as closely as possible to your belt - not to your stomach.
To release the belt, press the release button.
