To turn on the headlights, turn the knob at the end of the lever.
On some vehicles, the following lights come on when the engine is started (headlight switch is in the off position).
First Click Position: Only the parking lights, tail lights, license plate lights, and gauge lights turn on.
Second click position: headlights on.
On vehicles equipped with a headlight beam corrector, before turning on the headlights, set the desired beam position (see subsection 11.15).
If the ignition key is in the Lock position with the headlights on, a chime will sound when the driver's side door is opened to remind you to turn off the headlights.
To turn on the high beam headlights, turn the knob away from you. For dipped high beam headlights, turn the knob towards you. To switch the headlights to flashing mode, additionally turn the handle towards you.
To turn on the high beam headlights, the switch must be in the second click position. The inclusion of high beam headlights is signaled by a blue control signal on the instrument panel.
The flashing mode is retained even if the switch knob is in the Off position.
To turn on the turn signal, move the lever up or down as far as it will go.
The ignition key must be in the On position.
The turn signal turns off automatically after you make a turn, but you can also turn it off manually. The maneuver can also be signaled by moving the turn signal lever up or down, but to an intermediate position, and hold it in this position. A burnt-out rear or front direction indicator lamp is indicated by an increased flashing frequency of the green indicator lamp.
