1. Check for signs of belt fraying and other defects. Also check the operation of the locks and belt tensioners, the tightening of the bolts securing the belt buckles to the body.
2. Check the ignition of the belt warning lamp.
3. Check the operation of the belt tensioners.
4. If any faults or defects are found, replace the belts.
