Thermostat regulator
- This is the only visible control that is added to the ventilation system if your vehicle is equipped with air conditioning.
- The thermostat regulator is used to turn the air conditioner on and off and to regulate the temperature of the cooled air.
Cooling
- For normal cooling, set the air flow regulator to the "FRESH" position. For faster cooling, set the regulator to the "RECIRC" position.
- Set the air separation regulator for ventilation to the "VENT" position.
- Turn on the fan control. Medium or high speeds are most effective.
- Set the thermostat control to the desired temperature.

Ventilation without cooling
- Set the thermostat control to the "OFF" position.
- Set all other controls in the same way as described in the section "Ventilation system control".
Eliminating fogging of glass
- Set the thermostat knob to the desired temperature.
