Set the steering wheel to the center position.
Turn the steering wheel in different directions, observing the front wheels. The steering wheel may have a play of no more than 30 mm.
If there is more play in the steering wheel, it is necessary to check the steering rods, steering gear and play in the front suspension bearings.
Move the steering rods by hand. There should be no play in the ball joint. Otherwise, replace the joints or rods.
