Wear parts: ATF Dexron-II oil.

Check the power steering fluid level with the engine not running.

Remove the tank cap. Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth.

Put the cover back in place without fastening it with screws. Remove the cover and measure the oil level. When the liquid is cold, its level should be between the "GOLD" marks, when the liquid is hot, between the "HOT" marks.

Otherwise, add oil. Use only Dexron-II fluid.

Fill only with new fluid, as even minor contamination in the fluid can lead to malfunctions in the power steering.

After filling the system with oil, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times with the engine running. This will remove air from the system.

Check the system for leaks.
