- Anti-acid grease, for example from BOSCH.
- Steel brush (for cleaning poles and terminals).
- Hydrometer.
Required wearing parts: Distilled water.
Cleaning the battery poles
Clean the battery poles and connecting terminals and lubricate with protective grease.
Checking the electrolyte level.
The electrolyte level should be checked every four weeks.
Attention: Do not use open fire near the battery. There is a risk of explosion!
The electrolyte level must be between the top (UPPER LEVEL) and lower (LOWER LEVEL) labels.
To fill the electrolyte, unscrew the caps with a coin or a large screwdriver.
Attention: When filling, use only distilled water.
