The fuel shut-off solenoid valve opens the fuel supply (arrow in fig. G-2412) when the engine is turned on. It must be checked if the engine does not start or continues to run after the engine is turned off.
Turn on and off the engine. A valve click should be heard.
If a click is not heard, check if there is voltage on the supply wires with the engine running.
If there is no voltage, find the fault in the wiring diagram.
If no fault is found, disconnect the wires and remove the valves.
Install and secure a new valve with a new gasket, connect the electrical wires.
Purge air from the power system.
