Before adjusting the throttle cable, check the maximum speed and idle speed.

Caution: The gas cable is very sensitive to kinks and requires careful handling. A minor kink in the cable may later lead to its breakage during vehicle operation. A kinked cable should not be installed on the vehicle.


With the help of an assistant, fully depress the gas pedal or fix it in this position with a spacer.



In this position, adjust the gas cable with the lock nuts on the support so that the fuel injection pump lever rests freely on the maximum speed stop.
