Removal
Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery post
Remove the lower left engine shield.
Remove the lower engine shield No.1.
Remove the lower right engine shield.
Remove the upper radiator shroud.
Remove cylinder head cover No.2.
Remove the coolant.
Remove the fan and alternator V-belt.
Remove the generator assembly.

Remove 6 bolts, then remove the coolant pump (fig. 2.411).

Remove the sealing ring from the timing chain cover (fig. 2.412).
Installation
Install a new sealing ring into the timing chain cover.

Secure the coolant pump with 6 bolts (fig. 2.413).
Tightening torque: 9.0 Nm for bolt A, 11 Nm for bolt B.
Install the remaining components in the reverse order of removal.
