Parts for removal and installation.
1 - timing belt cover No. 2T 2 - timing belt, 3 - cylinder head cover, 4 - camshaft pulley, 5 - intermediate pulley, 6 - oil pump drive pulley, 7 - crankshaft pulley, 8 - idler spring. 9 - timing belt guide, 10 - timing belt cover No. 1, 11 - crankshaft pulley, 12 - timing belt cover No. 3, 13 - tension roller.
Removing the timing belt
1. Remove the alternator drive belt by loosening the axle bolt nut and adjusting bolt.
2. Turn out spark plugs.
- A) Disconnect high voltage wires from spark plugs.
- b) Remove the spark plugs.
3. Remove the cylinder head cover.
- A) Remove the oil filler cap.
- b) Remove five nuts and sealing washers.
- V) Remove the cylinder head cover and gasket.
4. Remove timing belt cover #2 and gasket by unscrewing 4 bolts.
5. Set piston cylinder N81 to TDC on the compression stroke.
- A) Rotate the crankshaft pulley and align its mark with the alignment mark "ABOUT" on cover #1 of the timing belt.
Note: Always turn the crankshaft clockwise.
- 6) Check that the camshaft sprocket alignment hole is aligned with the bearing cap alignment mark. If not, turn the crankshaft one turn (360°).
6. Remove the crankshaft pulley by removing the pulley bolt.
7. Remove timing belt cover #3.
8. Remove the #1 timing belt cover and gasket by unscrewing the three bolts.
9. Remove the timing belt guide.
10. Remove the timing belt and tension roller.
Note: When reusing the timing belt, draw a direction arrow on the belt and mark the pulley as shown.
- A) Remove tension spring.
- b) Loosen the idler bolt and push it to the left as far as possible, and then temporarily tighten the bolt.
- V) Remove the timing belt.
- G) Loosen the idler pulley bolt and remove the pulley.
11. Remove the intermediate pulley by unscrewing the bolt.
12. Remove a gear pulley of a cranked shaft.
If the pulley cannot be removed by hand, use two screwdrivers.
Note: put rags. as shown in the picture to prevent damage.
13. Holding the camshaft with one wrench, unscrew the pulley mounting bolt with another wrench and remove the camshaft sprocket.
Note: Be careful not to damage the cylinder head with the wrench.
14. Turn away a nut and remove a pulley of the oil pump.
