L Series



Install (see relevant sections).

1. Oil radiator.

2. Oil pump and oil pan.

3. Water pump.

4. Fuel injection pump.

5. Cylinder head.

6. Pulleys and timing belt.

7. Generator.

8. Back plate.

Tightening torque 12 Nm.



9. (For vehicles equipped with manual transmission). Installing the flywheel.

a) Apply a thin layer of motor oil to the threads and under the bolt heads

b) Install the flywheel on the crankshaft.

c) Install and tighten the eight mounting bolts evenly, in several passes, in the sequence shown in the figure.

Tightening torque 123 Nm.



10. (For cars with automatic transmission). Install the torque converter drive clutch.

Tightening torque 98 Nm

11. (For vehicles equipped with manual transmission). Install the clutch disc and basket.



KZ Series



12. Install (see relevant sections):

a) Block jet.

b) Engine mounts.

c) Water pipe and thermostat.

d) Oil cooler.

d) Oil pan and gear cover.

e) Oil temperature sensor.

g) high-pressure fuel pump.

c) Timing drive toothed wheel.

i) Water pump.

c) Generator and generator bracket

l) Cylinder head.

m) Timing belt and pulleys,

n) Back plate.

Bolt tightening torque 8 Nm



o) Flywheel (apply sealing glue to 2-3 threads, tighten the bolts crosswise to a torque of 145 Nm).

p) Clutch.
