Removal



1. Drain the coolant.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. (Models with automatic transmission) Disconnect the throttle valve control cable (from the engine side).

4. Disconnect the accelerator cable.

5. Disconnect the coolant hose.

6. Disconnect the power steering pump bracket.

7. Disconnect all connectors, vacuum hoses, grounds, etc.

8. Loosen the nuts and remove the intake manifold with the throttle body assembly.

Note: Place a rag underneath to collect the coolant.


Installation



1. Clean the contact surfaces of the cylinder head and intake manifold, install a new intake manifold gasket.

2. Install the intake manifold.

a) Install the intake manifold and tighten the mounting nuts.

b) Connect all connectors, vacuum hoses, ground, etc.

3. Install the power steering pump bracket.

a) Install the bracket with the power steering pump.

b) Install the pump drive belt and adjust its tension.

4. Install brackets No.1 and No.2. Tighten the mounting bolts and nuts.

5. Install the accelerator cable and adjust its free play.
  • Free play - 1 - 5mm

6. Install the throttle valve control cable.

7. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

1 - air filter housing,
2 - accelerator cable,
3 - bracket No.1,
4 - bracket No.2,
5 - brake booster hose,
6 - coolant hose,
7 - vacuum hose of the solenoid valve of the fuel vapor recovery system,
8 - gasket,
9 - power steering pump bracket,
10 - coolant hose,
11 - intake manifold.




Removing and installing the exhaust manifold.
1 - oxygen sensor,
2 - heat shield,
3 - stand,
4 - exhaust manifold,
5 - gasket.


8. Fill with coolant.
