1. Install the dust cover and temporarily secure it with clamps.



2. Install the inner race of the inner joint.

3. Install the sealing rings.

4. Install the outer race of the inner joint and put on the retaining ring.

5. Install the dust cover on the outer race of the inner joint:

a) Place the small diameter dust cover on the shaft as shown in the figure.



b) Apply grease to the edge of the boot.

c) Fix the shaft in a horizontal position, install the retaining ring and secure with a clamp, adjusting the distance shown in the figure.



d) Place the large diameter dust cover on the inner joint collar as shown in the figure.





d) Apply grease to the edge of the boot.

e) Fix the inner joint collar in a horizontal position, install the retaining ring and secure with a clamp, adjusting the distances shown in the figure.





Drive shaft (2WD models with automatic transmission).
1 - retaining ring,
2 - clamp,
3 - inner hinge cage,
4 - triple hinge,
5 - dust cover,
6 - damper (right shaft),
7 - outer joint assembled with shaft.




Drive shaft (2WD models with manual transmission and 4WD).
1 - clamp,
2 - retaining ring,
3 - outer race of the inner joint,
4 - inner race of the inner joint assembly,
5 - anther,
6 - outer joint assembled with shaft.
