1. Drain the engine oil.
a) Remove the oil filler cap.
b) Unscrew the drain plug on the oil pan and drain the oil into a container.
2. Replace the oil filter.
a) Using a special tool, remove the oil filter.

b) Clean the mounting surface of the oil filter.
c) Apply clean engine oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
d) Screw the filter onto the seat by hand until significant resistance appears.
d) Using a special tool, tighten the filter an additional 3/4 turn.
3. Fill with engine oil.
a) Clean and install the drain plug with a new gasket.
- Tightening torque - 39 Nm
b) Fill with new engine oil.
c) Replace the oil filler cap.
4. Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
5. Recheck the engine oil level.
