Assessment of the technical condition of the holes for the pushers [Toyota Dyna Y50]

Measure the clearance between the tappet surface and the hole in the block.

a) Using a dial indicator, measure the diameters of the tappet holes.

• Nominal - 21.417 - 21.443 mm

b) By subtracting the measured value of the tappet diameter from the obtained size of the tappet hole diameter, determine the size of the gap.

• Nominal clearance - 0.013 - 0.056 mm
• Maximum gap - 0.10 mm

If the gap is greater than the maximum allowable, replace the tappets.
