Removal piston rings [Toyota Dyna Y50]

1. Check the fit of the piston pin in the piston bosses by rocking the piston on the piston pin. If there is any play, replace the piston and pin.

2. Remove the piston compression rings using an expander.



Remove the upper and lower oil scraper ring scrapers and the oil scraper ring expander by hand.

Caution: Arrange the piston rings and oil scraper rings in the correct order.


3. Press the pin out of the piston.

Caution: Place pistons, pins, rings, connecting rods and bearings in the proper order.
