Taking into account the design of the front and rear parts of the vehicle, the jack should only be positioned under the points indicated in Figure 1.

To raise the front, apply the parking brake and place bricks under the rear wheels for safety. On all models, place the roller jack under the middle of the front engine beam.

To raise the rear, engage the gear and place bricks under the front wheels. When lifting a passenger car, place the roller jack under the side reinforcements, as shown in the upper part of Figure 4. When lifting a station wagon, place the jack under the middle of the rear axle.

Install stands only in the specified places of the body. When lifting first one side and then the other, pay special attention to the reliability of the stands.

The jack must be installed only on a solid support. The same applies to stands.
