Removal
1. Drain the fluid from the engine cooling system.
2. (For cars with manual transmission). Remove the gear shift lever handle and cover.
3. (For cars with automatic transmission). Remove the gear shift lever hole trim.
4. Remove the lower center console trim.
5. Unscrew the two mounting bolts and remove the bracket as shown in the figure.

6. Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

7. Disconnect the clips and remove the side decorative cover.

8. Unscrew the two fastening screws and remove the coolant supply and discharge tube clamps.

9. Remove the clamps and O-rings, disconnect the coolant supply and discharge pipes from the heater.
Note: Be sure to place a tray under the pipe connections as there may be a small amount of coolant that has not drained.

10. Remove the heater.
Installation
Note: the heater is installed in the reverse order of removal.
