Replacement of pipeline elements [Toyota Carina T190]

1. Remove the refrigerant from the system (see subsection "Installing the pressure gauge block and discharging the system").

2. Replace faulty elements.

Caution: To avoid contamination of the system, immediately install plugs on open ends of pipes.

3. Tighten the connections.

Attention: tighten the connections in strict accordance with the torques shown in the figure "Tightening torques for threaded connections of the air conditioning system".

4. Evacuate and charge the system with refrigerant (see subsections "Vacuuming the system" and "Charging the system").

Note: For the amount of refrigerant, see section "Charging the system".

5. Check the tightness of the system (see subsection "Checking the tightness of the system").
