Removal
1. (Lever type control panel). Set the air conditioning control panel levers to the specified positions:
a) Set the air flow direction flap control lever to the FACE position.
b) Set the air intake flap control lever to the RECIRC position.
c) Set the air flow mixing flap control lever to the COOL position.
2. Disconnect the eight clips securing the upper center console trim.
3. Disconnect the cable from the clamp, remove the cable from the lever as shown in the figure and remove the upper trim of the center console.
4. (Lever type control panel). Unscrew the four mounting screws and remove the radio.
5. (Lever type control panel). Loosen the four mounting screws and remove the air conditioner control panel.

6. (Lever type control panel).
Disconnect the throttle control cables.
7. (Push-button type control panel). Loosen the four mounting screws and remove the air conditioner control panel.

8. (Push-button type control panel). Remove the three mounting screws and disconnect the air conditioner control panel from the amplifier.
Installation
Note: The air conditioner control panel is installed in the reverse order of removal.
