Replacing the hub bolt [Toyota Carina T190]

1. Jack up the car, remove the rear wheel.

2. Remove the caliper assembly and brake disc.

Attention:
  • - do not disconnect the brake hose
  • - apply marks on the disk and hub
  • - Avoid getting oil on the disc.


3. Using a special tool, unscrew the hub bolt.



4. Install the hub bolt.

a) Install the washer and nut onto the hub bolt as shown in the figure.



b) Tighten the nut and install the bolt.

5. Install the brake disc and caliper assembly.
  • Tightening torque - 96 Nm

Note: Align the marks made during removal.


6. Install the rear wheel and lower the vehicle.
  • Tightening torque - 105 Nm
