Removing
Remove the tie rod end.
Unclip the clamps at both ends of the protective cover.
Remove protective covers.
Attention: If the protective cover has been damaged for a long time, then it should be borne in mind that there may be dirt in its cavity. Together with the lubricant, it can act as an abrasive and destroy the steering mechanism. As a result, it may be necessary to repair the mechanism.
Installation
Lightly coat tie rod -C- with grease.
Lightly grease protective caps -B- from inside at points of contact -E- with rods and fit over tie rod -C-.
Secure boot to steering housing with clamp -D-.
Install the tie rod end pivot.
Fasten the boot to the tie rod with a wire tie. In this case, the ends of the clamp should look outward so as not to damage the cover. The cover cannot be twisted.
Lower the car.
Check wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
