Removal

Loosen the wheel nuts on a vehicle parked on the ground.

Fix the position of the wheel disk in relation to the hub. Thanks to this, the balanced wheel will take its previous position.

Raise the front of the car.

Remove the wheel.

Disconnect the steering rod end "A" from the steering arm "F". To do this, remove the cotter pin "E" and loosen the castle nut "D". B is the lock nut, C is the steering rod.

Press out the joint of the steering rod end "A" with the puller "C". B - the steering lever.

Loosen the lock nut and remove the steering rod end.

Note: Record the number of turns made when unscrewing the tip.

Installation

Screw the steering rod end back on to the previous number of turns without tightening the lock nuts.

Insert the tip joint into the pivot arm.

Tighten the lock nut to 50 Nm and secure with a new cotter pin. If the cotter pin does not fit into the hole, do not turn the nut back, but tighten it until the cotter pin can be installed.

Install and tighten the wheel nuts, observing the markings. Lower the car to the ground and tighten the nuts crosswise with a force of 105 Nm.

"Press" the body down several times with your hands to settle the suspension.

Check the wheel alignment and tighten the lock nut on the steering rod end to 55 Nm.
