Removing
Loosen the wheel nuts while the vehicle is on the ground.
Fix the position of the wheel disc in relation to the hub. Thanks to this, the balanced wheel will return to its original position.
Raise the front of the car.
Remove wheel.
Detach tie rod end -A- from swivel arm -F-. To do this, remove cotter pin -E- and give castle nut -D-. B - locknut, C - tie rod.
Press out the tie rod end joint -A- with a puller -C-. B - rotary lever.
Loosen the locknut and remove the tie rod end.
Attention: Record the number of revolutions made when turning the tip out.
Installation
Screw on the tie rod end to the previous number of revolutions without tightening the lock nuts.
Insert the handpiece pivot into the pivot arm.
Tighten the lock nut to 50 Nm and secure with a new cotter pin. If the cotter pin does not fit into the hole, do not turn the nut back, but tighten it until the cotter pin can be installed.
Install and tighten the wheel nuts, observing the markings. Lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten the nuts crosswise to 105 Nm.
«press down» several times with the hands of the body down to upset the suspension.
Check the wheel alignment and tighten the locknut on the tie rod end with a force of 55 Nm.
