Throttle Cable — Checking and Adjusting [Toyota Camry XV20]

1. Check how the throttle linkage functions.

2. If the valve does not open fully when the pedal is fully depressed, have an assistant hold the pedal depressed, loosen the adjusting nuts and adjust the cable so that the mark or travel limiter is at the required distance from the cap.

3. Tighten the nuts and recheck the operation of the linkage.
