The gear shift lever is located on the instrument panel.

The hollow spherical tip design, paired with a rubber ball joint and preloaded, minimizes loosening of the gearshift lever connections during operation.

The placement of the gearshift lever on the instrument panel increases the level of injury safety. In the event of a collision, the support of the spherical tip breaks off, absorbing the impact energy. In addition, the ribs on the lower surface of the support plate are crushed under the impact.
