2. Jack up the car and remove the rear wheel.
3. Remove speed sensor wire (ABS) and brake hose from the rack.
4. Disconnect the stabilizer bar from the rear suspension strut.
5. Remove the rear shock absorber strut with spring.
- A) Loosen the two nuts on the underside of the rack.
- b) Place a jack under your fist.
- V) Loosen the three nuts securing the top support.
- G) Lower your fist and remove the two bolts.
- d) Remove the spring strut.
6. Remove the spring.
- A) Remove the plug.
- 6) Using the special tool, compress the spring.
- V) Install the bolt and two nuts on the bracket at the bottom of the stand and secure it in a vise.
- G) Using the special tool, hold the upper spring seat and loosen the nut.
- d) Remove: upper strut support, upper vibration isolator, spring, compression stroke limiter, lower vibration isolator.
Shock absorber check
Pulling and sinking the shock absorber rod, check that its stroke is smooth and there is no extraneous resistance or noise.
In case of malfunction, lure the shock absorber.
