Rear Suspension Arm Mounting Components

1. The anti-roll bar installation components are shown in the illustration above.
2. Support the front wheels with wheel chocks. Jack up the rear of the car and place it on supports.
3. Support the rear axle with a trolley jack.
4. On ABS equipped models, release the wheel sensor wiring from the support brackets on the upper control arm assembly.

5. Loosen the nuts, remove the washers and remove the bolts securing the upper suspension arms to the frame and rear axle assembly (refer to the accompanying illustration).

6. Loosen the nuts, remove the washers and remove the bolts securing the lower suspension arms to the frame and rear axle assembly (refer to the accompanying illustration).
7. Assess the condition of the rubber bushings of the lever. Replace defective bushings in a car service workshop.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that all fasteners are tightened with the required force. Tighten the fasteners after lowering the car to the ground.
