1. Remove valve .
2. Check the valve.
- A) Using an ohmmeter, verify that there is no open circuit in the valve winding by measuring its electrical resistance.
The resistance value of the valve winding (cold) is: 30-33 ohms.
Otherwise, replace the valve.
- b) Using an ohmmeter, one wire of which is alternately connected to the terminals of the valve connector, and the other to the valve body, check that there is no short circuit between the valve winding and the body ("mass").
If the ohmmeter registers any resistance other than infinity, then replace the valve.
- V) Check valve operation.
- G) Make sure air is flowing through the port "E" to the port "F":
- d) Apply battery voltage to the valve connector terminals and verify that air is flowing through the port "E" to the port "F".
Otherwise, replace the valve.
