3S-FE, 4A-FE. 4S-FE and 7A-FE
1. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
2. Connect a tachometer to the IG connector (-) diagnostic connector
3. Checking the speed corresponding to turning off and on the fuel control valve
- A) Increase engine speed to at least 2500 rpm.
- b) Using a phonendoscope, check for the sound of the nozzles.
- V) Verify that after the throttle is released, the sound of the injectors disappears and then reappears.
Switching on the fuel supply: must occur at a speed of 1450 rpm.
4. Disconnect the tachometer.
3S-GE
1. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
2. Check the rpm corresponding to turning the fuel control valve off and on.
- A) Disconnect the connector from the throttle position sensor.
- b) Short circuit the leads "IDL" And "E2" at the harness connector.
- V) Gradually increase the engine speed and watch the position of the tachometer needle when turning off and on the fuel supply.
Note: The vehicle must be stationary and all additional electrical consumers switched off.
Rotation speed corresponding to shutdown (P1) and reverse inclusion (P2) valve (switching off and on the fuel supply), rpm
Note: Erase the memory, otherwise there will be a fault code 41.
