2. Check the valve.
A. Using an ohmmeter connected to the valve connector terminals, verify that there is no open circuit in the valve winding by measuring its electrical resistance.
Nominally» value: 33-39 ohm.
Otherwise, replace the valve.
B. Using an ohmmeter, one wire of which is alternately connected to the terminals of the valve connector, and the other to the valve body, make sure that there is no short circuit in the valve winding to ground.
If the ohmmeter registers any resistance other than infinity, then replace the valve.
IN. Check valve operation.
- A) Make sure air flows through port E to port G.
- b) Apply battery voltage to the valve connector terminals and check that air is flowing through hole E to the filter.
Otherwise, replace the valve.
3. Replace the valve.
