1. The operations for unlocking and locking the tailgate using the key are shown in the accompanying illustration.
Note: When the vehicle is equipped with the electric door locking and unlocking system, all doors are unlocked and locked simultaneously with the tailgate.
2. Unlocking and locking the tailgate from the inside is done in the same way as the other doors (see above). To open the upper part of the door, press the lever on the inside of its handle, and to open the lower part, move the lever located on top of it outward (refer to the accompanying illustration).
3. When there are small children in the car, lock the rear door so that it cannot be opened from the inside. To do this, move the safety to position 1 and close the door (refer to the accompanying illustration).
