The engine electrical system includes the ignition system, the battery charging system and the engine starting system.
When servicing electrical equipment, exercise extreme caution when checking electrical equipment parts and devices.
When the engine is not running, do not leave the ignition on for more than 10 minutes.
Do not disconnect battery cables while the engine is running.
When emergency starting the engine from the battery of another vehicle, observe the polarity of the battery connection.
Always disconnect the battery from ground first and reconnect it to ground last.
Before disconnecting the battery from ground, make sure you know the decoding code for the radio.
