Starting the engine in emergency situations



When emergency starting the engine from the battery of another vehicle, observe the polarity of the battery connection.

Removal and installation





1. Disconnect both cables from the battery, starting with the negative cable, then disconnect the positive terminal by unscrewing the nuts and remove the battery retaining band.

2. Disconnect the mounting clamp.

3. Remove the battery.

4. Inspect the tray and check for corrosion.

5. When replacing the battery, make sure that the parameters of the new battery (dimensions, capacity and output current) exactly the same as the one being replaced.

6. The battery is installed in reverse order.
