Examination
1. Measure the resistance between the connector terminals of each sensor.
- Nominal resistance - 1.25 - 1.55 kOhm
If the value does not correspond to the nominal value, replace the sensor.
2. Check for continuity between each of the terminals and the sensor body. If there is continuity, replace the sensor.
Pressure modulator.
1 - brake pipes from the master brake cylinder,
2 - brake pipes,
3 - pressure modulator connector,
4 - pressure modulator.
3. Check that the wheel speed sensor is installed correctly and that the tightening torque of the sensor mounting bolt corresponds to the permissible value.
- Tightening torque - 19 Nm
4. Measure the gap between the rotor and the speed sensor.
- Nominal clearance - 1.0 mm
5. Check the sensor rotor for scratches, cracks, deformation or missing teeth.
Pressure sensors in the master brake cylinder.
1 - sensor-switch for pressure in the main brake cylinder,
2 - pressure sensor in the main brake cylinder.
