b) Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

(The material was taken from a resource toyotaman)

c) Measure the resistance between the connector terminals of each sensor.
  • Nominal resistance - 0.9-1.3 kOhm

If the value does not correspond to the nominal value, replace the sensor.

d) Check for continuity between each of the terminals and the sensor body. If there is continuity, replace the sensor.

d) Connect the speed sensor connectors.

f) Install the fender liner.

2. Check that the wheel speed sensor is installed correctly and that the tightening torque of the sensor mounting bolt corresponds to the permissible value.

  • Tightening torque - 7.8 Nm

3. Visually inspect the teeth of the wheel speed sensor rotor.

a) Remove the drive shaft.

b) Check the sensor rotor teeth for scratches, cracks, deformation or missing teeth.
