Attention: when diagnosing the speed sensors, the brake system works as usual (vehicle control systems do not work).
1. Diagnose vehicle handling improvement systems.
2. In the absence of a malfunction, the ABS indicator will display sensor diagnostic codes.
3. Turn off the ignition and remove the jumper between the terminals of the diagnostic connector.
4. Make sure the selector is in position "R" and turn on the ignition. The drivability system buzzer should sound and the ABS light should start flashing.
5. Initialize the lateral movement sensor, deceleration sensor and brake master cylinder pressure sensor.
A) Park the vehicle on a level surface. Hit the switch "TCS OFF".
b) When the initialization mode is turned on, the indicator will light up "TCS OFF" and the buzzer will turn on.
V) Do not press the brake pedal for more than 1 s. During this time, the pressure sensor in the main brake cylinder will be initialized. After initialization, the buzzer will turn on and off.
G) Depress the brake pedal with a force of about 10 kg until the buzzer sounds. During this time, the lateral movement sensor will be initialized. deceleration sensor and pressure sensor in the main brake cylinder.
d) Release the brake pedal. Indicator "TCS OFF" should go out.
6. Initialize the steering wheel position sensor.
A) Set the steering wheel to the straight ahead position. Press the brake pedal.
b) Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, return to the straight-ahead position, then all the way to the left and back to the straight-ahead position.
7. Set the automatic transmission selector to position "R", start the engine and move the selector to the position "D". This will check the reverse sensor of the engine start inhibit switch.
8. Drive forward on a level surface at a speed of about 20 km/h for more than 5 seconds, then turn 90°without changing your speed. This will test the lateral movement sensor and deceleration sensor.
9. After checking all the flash sensors, the test ends and the ABS indicator stops flashing.
10. After stopping the car, install a jumper between the terminals "ECUT" And "E" diagnostic connector and read the trouble codes by flashing the ABS indicator (see table "Codes of malfunctions of sensors of systems of improvement of controllability of the car").
Note.
- During normal operation, the indicator blinks at a frequency of 2 times per second.
- If there are two or more DTCs, the smallest one will be displayed first.
11. Turn off the ignition and remove the jumper from the terminals of the diagnostic connector.
