1. Make sure the battery cables are connected to the correct terminals.
2. When fast charging the battery, disconnect the wires from its terminals.
3. When measuring, do not use a high voltage tester with high input resistance.
4. Do not disconnect the wires from the battery terminals while the engine is running.
