Checking the selector lock cable
Check the protrusion of the ignition key lock mechanism pin.
a) Make sure the pin is above the center of the brake pedal stopper.
b) Measure the pin protrusion.

Checking the selector lock
1. Turn the ignition key from the "ACC" position to the "ON" position.
2. Move the selector to the "P" range and make sure that the locking button on the selector is not pressed.
3. Press the brake pedal and make sure that the locking button on the selector is locked and the selector does not move.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" position.
5. Press the brake pedal and make sure that the locking button on the selector is locked and the selector does not move.
Checking the ignition key lock
1. Turn the ignition key to the "ACC" position.
2. Press the brake pedal and move the selector to any position except "P".
3. Make sure that the ignition key cannot be turned to the "LOCK" position.
4. Move the selector to position "P".
5. Make sure that the key in the ignition switch moves freely to the "LOCK" position.
