Adjusting the rotation speed set by the throttle valve opening mechanism [Toyota Dyna Y50]

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and turn it off.

2. Connect the tachometer.

3. Start the engine again.

4. Adjust the speed set by the throttle valve opening mechanism by following the following sequence:

a) Disconnect the vacuum hose from the diaphragm unit, plug the hose.

b) Increase the engine speed to 2500 rpm for a few seconds, release the throttle valve and check the speed corresponding to this throttle valve position (1200 rpm).

c) If necessary, adjust the rotation speed with the adjusting screw and repeat the checking procedure.



d) Connect the vacuum hose.
