Adjusting the increased idle speed [Toyota Dyna Y50]

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and turn it off.

2. Remove the air intake pipe from the carburetor.

3. Connect the tachometer.

4. If equipped with a Fast Idle Control (FICB) system, disable it by disconnecting and plugging the control system vacuum hose.



5. Set the fast idle cam. While holding the throttle valve slightly open, close the choke valve and hold it closed while releasing the throttle valve. (In this case, the increased idle speed cam must be in the first stage).

6. Start the engine without touching the accelerator pedal.

7. Check and, if necessary, adjust the increased idle speed by turning the corresponding adjusting screw.

• The value of the increased idle speed is 2600 rpm

8. If equipped with a Fast Idle Control (FICB) system, reconnect the appropriate vacuum hoses.

9. Connect the air intake pipe to the carburetor.
