Installing a carburetor [Toyota Dyna Y50]

1. Install the carburetor, first installing a new insulator on the intake manifold flange; secure the carburetor with four nuts.

2. Attach the vacuum tube to the carburetor clamp.

3. Connect to the carburetor: fuel supply pipe, toxicity control hose (toxicity management) exhaust gases, carburetor ventilation system hose (float chamber imbalance systems).

4. Install the drive parts:

a) The accelerator rod or cable;

b) (Carburetor with manual choke control)

air damper drive cable;

v) (Models with automatic transmission)

throttle control cable from gearbox;

5. Connect the carburetor electrical connector.

6. Install the air filter or air duct onto the carburetor.

7. Adjust idle speed and mixture composition.

8. Adjust the high idle speed when warming up the engine.

9. Adjust the rotation speed set by the throttle valve opening mechanism.

10. Adjust the speed set by the throttle lever (TR).

11. Adjust the high idle speed when the brake booster is engaged.
