The power steering is not subject to disassembly. If damaged, the steering should be replaced. Below are described only the simplest works that can be carried out with the power steering.

14.2.1 Removal and installation



Removal and installation of the steering is similar to that described for the mechanical steering, but with the removal of the feed and return pipes. To do this, release the clamps on the steering housing and unscrew the union nuts. Wipe off the leaking fluid. To prevent dirt from getting in, wrap the ends of the pipes with adhesive tape. Installation of the steering is carried out in the reverse order. After installation, fill the hydraulic system with fluid and remove air from the system.
