The following values are set for individual engines, which differ for new and run-in belts: Engine 4A-F/FE:
- New belt 5-6 mm
- Rolled belt 6 - 8 mm
Engine 3S-FE:
- New belt 8-10 mm
- Rolled belt 10-13 mm
Diesel engine:
- New belt 11-14 mm
- Rolled belt 15-18 mm
A run-in belt means a belt that has worked for more than 5 minutes. If necessary, to ensure the required belt tension, loosen the power steering pump and move the support. Tighten the support and check the belt tension again.
