- Tightening torque - 27 Nm
2. Install four retaining plate liners (4WD) or four anti-rattle springs (2WD).
3. Install new pads.
Note: If any brake pad needs to be replaced, replace all rear brake pads.
a) Apply special disc brake grease to both sides of the inner anti-squeal lining.
b) Install two anti-squeak pads on the outer shoe.
c) Install the anti-squeak pad on the inner shoe.
d) Install two pads with a lining wear indicator.
Caution: Do not allow oil or grease to come into contact with the working surfaces of the pads and disc.
4. Install the caliper and tighten the mounting bolt.
- Tightening torque - 20 Nm
5. Connect the brake hose with two gaskets as shown in the figure and tighten the bolt.
Note: When assembling, install the brake hose retainer into the caliper hole.
- Tightening torque - 31 Nm
6. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid and bleed the system.
7. Check the fluid level in the reservoir and top up if necessary.
8. Install the rear wheel.
- Tightening torque - 105 Nm
