Removing
Mark the position of the wheel disk relative to the hub. Thanks to this, the balanced wheel can be installed in its original place.
Loosen the wheel nuts while the vehicle is on the ground.
Place the car on a lift.
Remove wheel.
Remove brake pads.
For rear wheel disc brake only. Loosen the handbrake cable and remove the cable from the caliper.
If you need to completely remove the caliper, then disconnect the brake hose from the caliper.
Warning: Brake fluid will leak out. Collect the fluid in a container intended only for brake fluids. After assembly, bleed the brake system.
If the brake hose does not come off, then hang the upper part of the caliper on the wire to the body without pulling or twisting the hose.
Remove the two bolts securing the brake holder from the steering knuckle.
Remove brake disc.
Installation
To ensure uniform braking on both sides, both brake discs must have the same surface roughness at the same time. Therefore, it is necessary to change both disks at the same time.
Measure the thickness of the brake disc.
Clean the brake discs from conservation.
Install the brake disc onto the wheel hub and lightly tighten the fastening nuts to secure the brake disc.
Install brake caliper and tighten fasteners to 90 Nm. Tighten the rear caliper brackets to 45 Nm.
Attention: If the brake hose was disconnected, reconnect it. The hose must not be twisted. Install seals. Tighten the union nut to 30 Nm.
Install brake pads.
If the system is opened, need to download it.
Loosen the wheel nuts.
Connect the handbrake linkage to the rear caliper.
Install and fasten the wheel with nuts, observing the markings.
Remove the vehicle from the lift and tighten the wheel nuts to 105 Nm.
Caution: Press the brake pedal vigorously several times until a strong resistance is felt.
Check the fluid level in the tank, if necessary, add fluid to the mark «max».
On the rear wheel brake, adjust the hand brake drive.
