Removal the Windshield Wiper Control Switch [Toyota Carina T190]

1. Remove the turn signal switch assembly.

2. Remove the clamp.

3. Removing the windshield wiper control switch.

Type 1

a) Disconnect the windshield wiper control switch wiring harness from the clamp.

b) Bend back the three tabs and remove the windshield wiper control switch cover.



c) Unscrew the two screws.

d) Bend back the clips and remove the windshield wiper control switch.



d) Remove the connector retainer.

e) Bend back the clips, remove the wires and finally remove the windshield wiper control switch.

Type 2

a) Unscrew the two screws.

b) Bend back the clips and remove the windshield wiper control switch.



c) Remove the connector retainer.

d) Bend back the clips, remove the wires and finally remove the windshield wiper control switch.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal. Note: do not mix up the colors of the wires being connected.
